Tent of Abraham, Sunday, January 27, 2019, 2 - 5 pm
Topic: "Building Understanding: What our Sacred Texts say to us about Conflict"
This is the second in this year's 3-part series, hosted by Chadeish Yameinu in Santa Cruz. We're going to discuss and reflect on how different faith traditions deal with conflict.
Our panel includes Rabbi Paula Marcus, Imam Thabet Anani, and Reverand Matt Broadbent, who will each share a relevant teaching from Judaism, Islam, and Christianity respectively.
We'll have plenty of time for the small group discussions you've enjoyed at prior Tent of Abraham events, and we'll end the day by planting an olive tree for the hosting congregation.
Please, please register so we can get an accurate count, provide printed name badges, and speed the entrance process! (There's a spot to let us know names of others coming with you--kids are welcome, and there will be activities for those over 5.) That link, again, is:
